The District of 100 Mile House is home to a range of leisure and recreation groups, clubs, and associations. It includes private businesses and volunteer-run non-profit groups. There is so much in the region for residents and visitors alike to do, including activities through the following groups.
The 100 Mile & District Minor Hockey Association, provides our youth with the opportunity to participate and become lifelong hockey players. We aim to provide an experience for our youth to develop emotionally, physically, socially and technically. We strive to create a positive environment that is safe, fun and respectful. The 100 Mile House & District Skating Club strives to offer a safe, community-based environment for individuals of all abilities to thrive on and off the ice in their love of skating! 100 Mile Curling Club has mens and ladies leagues, as well as seniors, youth, businesses, blind curlers, and new-comers. 100 Mile House is known for amazing Cross-country Skiing! Enjoy 45 km of groomed ski trails, snowshoe trails, and night skiing. We offer rentals for all ages and sizes, as well as 2 cross-country ski chariots for the children not yet on skis. After a beautiful ski or snowshoe, stop in at the Nordic Nook in the main lodge for some delicious soup and treats. The 100 Mile House and District Soccer Association (OMHSA) is the governing body for soccer in 100 Mile House & surrounding area. Soccer in the area has experienced excellent growth in the past few years. In 1991, the Association registered approximately 300 players, and over the last few years, they have averaged approximately 500 kids! The South Cariboo Minor Softball Association has been an integral part of the recreation community in the South Cariboo for many years with continuous activities at the Lumberman and Robinson Parks located at the South Cariboo Minor Softball Fields. For more information, go to our Facebook page.
The 100 Mile Outriders are a group of local horse enthusiasts whose mission is to promote and enhance the equine industry in the area by offering educational, recreational, competitive, and fun activities.
